SwiftSMS GH Add-on for Google Sheets: Support

Getting started
- Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- Open a spreadsheet and go to Extensions → SwiftSMS GH → Open Sidebar.
- Sign in with your SwiftSMS GH API token and approved Sender ID.
- Put column headers in row 1 (for example, Name and Phone) and your contacts from row 2.
- Write a message using placeholders such as
{{Name}}, preview it, and click Send Now.
Common questions
"Your session has expired"
The login duration you picked has run out. Open the sidebar and sign in again.
"No valid recipients" or nobody was sent to
- Check that the right phone column is selected.
- Rows whose Status already says Sent or Scheduled are skipped, so nobody is messaged twice. To resend to a row, clear its Status cell.
- In "selected rows only" mode, only rows ticked in column A are used.
"Error: Invalid phone number"
Ghana numbers can be written as 024…, +233…, 00233… or 233…. Numbers that are too short or too long after formatting aren't sent.
Scheduled messages go out at the wrong time
The time is sent as you enter it. Make sure it matches the timezone set in your SwiftSMS GH account.
"Insufficient balance"
Top up your credit on swiftsmsgh.com. The add-on is free; messages are billed to your SwiftSMS GH account.
Removing the add-on and your data
Log out in the sidebar (🚪) to delete your saved token.
To remove the add-on, go to Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons in Google Sheets, and remove its access in your Google Account permissions.
